MY LIVING AND STUDYING EXPERIENCE AS THE FIRST AND ONLY  FOREIGN STUDENT IN THE ART DEPARTMENT OF ZHEJIANG GONGSHANG UNIVERSITY

I am kezia armah, an international student of zhejiang gongshang university currently studying product design. Being the first and only international student to be a part of the art department, it will be a great pleasure to share my studying and living experiences to other interested students in various countries who will love to study art.

Primarily, my living experience in this prestigious school since i was enrolled has been an awesome one, one which i can not complain much about. Being the only foreign student studying in the art department, one may think my social life might be a boring one due to the fact that i have only Chinese people as classmates. Surprisingly, my social life is more of an exciting one since i benefit from both parties which is my fellow foreign friends in other departments and my Chinese classmates. Fortunately, i am surrounded with really jovial and affable Chinese mates who show so much interest in learning about my culture and helping me in some difficulties i face in my daily activities that has to do with coming in contact with their fellow country mates in case of language barrier etc. Not only do i find my Chinese mates there for me when i need them but also, my professors. They make sure to help me in any possible way to make my living here a very comfortable one.

Furthermore, my study life which is also an important part of my time and stay in this school has been a bit of a challenge. But as the popular saying goes, "NO PAIN,NO GAIN", it is my aim to strive hard and get to the top. There is not a doubt that, all my professors do their best in making me understand each lesson. These professors do everything possible to ensure my understanding in a class which is full of chinese students with the exception of one foreign student. It may be a hard task to perform but they always pull it off. Fellow classmates also help me catch up and relate very well to me in every positive way.

I must say, my experience so far has been an exciting adventure which i don't regret being a part of. I will encourage fellow students elsewhere who have a passion and desire to study art to enroll at this school. The journey may be a tough one but it is downs and falls we face in our lives that makes us whom we rightfully are.
